Roots & Vision

Piramid Records is the musical project of Hal C, a producer and multi-instrumentalist originally from Barcelona.

Hal C began his career as a musician and musicologist. He studied piano as his main instrument, but his curiosity led him to also master drums, guitar and bass, key instruments that have given him a solid foundation in composition and production.

Over the years, he has worked with renowned artists and bands such as Alizzz, New York Ska Jazz Ensemble, Lia Kali, Vasteye Jackson, Amaia, Begoña Bang Matu & Shake it Up's, The Dance Crashers, among others.

Reggae has been one of the main sources of inspiration for Hal C. After moving to Barcelona, he founded The Green Hood Band , a Reggae backing band where he acts as musical director. Later, he created Dianian Roots Sound with Rude Peli, a collective dedicated to the selection and collection of vinyl records by iconic artists of the genre.

From this rich experience, Hal C decided to launch Piramid Records , a label focused on Reggae music, consolidating his passion for the genre and his commitment to the music scene.
